Why do you only schedule sessions in the evening?
I am very picky about the times I schedule sessions. The best time for natural light photography is during the golden hour. The golden hour is a period shortly after sunrise or right before sunset during which daylight is redder and softer than when the sun is higher in the sky.
When should I book you?
ASAP. Photographers tend to book up weeks to even months in advance. Especially in busy season. Don't wait until the last minute to try and schedule, be sure to reach out and have a couple of weeks of wiggle room in your availability.
What is a valid form of ID for the Giving Back discount?
In order to receive the 15% discount, you will need to provide either an active duty military ID, VA card, DD214, dependent card, or badge. I recognize that taking pictures of government IDs is illegal so should you not be local, you will be asked to provide a photograph of the qualifying individual in their uniform.
Can I stack discounts?
No, discounts and promotions cannot be combined.
How do I get my images?
Images are provided in an online password protected gallery, where they are available via a free download.
What are the production and shipping times for printed products?
Prints shall take 3 weeks from the time your full payment is received to be processed.
Canvases shall take 3 weeks from the time your full payment is received to be processed.
Should your order require shipping, the above products will be then shipped via USPS.
Do you have any location recommendations?
Yes, I do offer my clients recommendations for their session location. This is provided after you book your session.
What should I wear?
Wardrobe assistance is provided free of charge! I have recommendations in all my welcome guides which are provided after you book your session. I also have a Pinterest board that is open to clients.
Do you have a studio?
No, I only shoot natural light right now.
What type of camera do you have?
I have a Nikon D750 and about 4 different lenses.
When should I book my wedding photographer?
ASAP. As soon as you book your venue and reserve your date you should be looking to book your photographer. Dates fill up quickly and you'll want to get your engagement pictures booked as well.
When should I contact you about custom stationery and design work?
If you plan on sending save the dates you'll want to reach out for stationery about a year before your wedding. If not, and you are just sending invitations, you will want to reach out about 6 months beforehand. You'll need this time to design, print, and ship your stationery and most designers only take a few weddings a month.
Do you have other vendor recommendations?
Yes, I do offer my clients recommendations for other vendors such as venues, florists, bakeries, etc. This is provided in the LMDP wedding welcome guide after booking.
Will you help us with posing?
Of course! I know most people feel uncomfortable in front of the camera and that's okay! I have posing techniques and tricks to help you look more natural.
Will you help create our timeline?
Of course! As part of the LMDP experience, I am available to you every step of the way. We will plan the timeline around your portraits and go from there.
How do I get my images?
Social media sized images are provided in an online password protected gallery, where they are available via a free download. Print size images are provided on a USB drive.
Do you have insurance?
Sure do! Most venues don't let photographers in without it.
